Your note on the care and preservation of manuscripts in the last issue of 'Alochana' is very touching indeed. It is realy painful to know that we are losing our rich cultural heritage due to lack of appericiation of its worth by its possessors. The main hitch appears to be the required type of devoted worker and the required finance. But where there is a will, there is a way'. I do hope and pray that this will be true in this case. Something needs to be done immediately to avert this calamity. May sargure bless you and may your efforts bear fruit in the near future. You deserve thanks of all members of the Academy for a first class literary raising 'Alochana' to the standard of tournal.
