This template inserts any number of non-breaking spaces, all enclosed in a 'nowrap' style.

Usage

{{spaces|number of spaces}}

Use this template anywhere you want a space and for the text either side of it to not be broken over a line-ending. For example, between the number and the units of a distance measurement.

Wikitext	Output

The {{nbsp}} shorthand form can also be used for this template.

When to use

Controlling spacing in typography is a big topic, and often open to argument, but some generally-accepted examples of when to prevent spacing are as follows (from ਫਰਮਾ:Citation):
