ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ, “ਚੱਕਮਾਕ ਦੀ ਨਾਇਕਾ ਦਾ ਮੌਲਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੁੱਟ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣਾ, ਖੱਟਾ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਸੁਆਦ' ਦੀ ਨਾਇਕਾ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਚੰਗਾ ਨੁਕਰਾ ਕੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧਣਾ, ‘ਕਰਾਮਾਤ' ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਸਕਣਾ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਢੋਲ ਵਜਦਾ ਹੈ' ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਜਾਣਾ, ਇਸ ਸਭ ਕਾਸੇ ਦੀ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਅਨ ਸਹਿਜੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । 'ਜੀਨੀਅਸ' ਕਹਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੀਨੀਅਸ ਦਾ ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਕਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ, ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ : ਉਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਜੀਨੀਅਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹੀ ਸਭ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾਵ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ । ਉਹ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਤਰ ਖ਼ਿਆਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਸਣ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਾਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ ਬਣੇ । ਦੁੱਗਲ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੋਹ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਹੈ ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਸੜੇ ਪੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਉਂਗਲ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ । ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੀਮਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ 1 ਪੰਨਾ 61, “ਨਵਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ' ਪਹਿਲੀ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ, ਸਿੱਖ ਪਬਲਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਹਾਊਸ, ਦਿਲੀ । 2 ਪੰਨਾ 176, “ਤ੍ਰਿਵੈਣੀ` 1964, ਨਵਯੁਗ ਪਬਲਿਸ਼ਰਜ਼, ਦਿੱਲੀ । 3 ਪੰਨਾ 9, 'ਕਰਾਮਾਤ` 1958, ਅਤਰ ਚੰਦ ਕਪੂਰ ਐਂਡ ਸਨਜ਼, ਦਿੱਲੀ । ,, 17, ,, ,, 5 ਪੰਨਾ 100, ‘ਤ੍ਰਿਵੈਣੀ` 1964, ਨਵਯੁਗ ਪਬਲਿਸ਼ਰਜ਼, ਦਿੱਲੀ । 6 Because of superior intelligence, lack of inhibitions, and facile imagination some individuals are exceptionally creative Their moral or other irresponsibilities are supposedly due to lack of sympathy and understanding hy ordinary people and are evidence of true genius.
